Appointments 2.0
This post is for threading with Trafalgar Law anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals (voice or written) to get in contact with him for personal conversations. This will be used primarily for 'placement' threads such as: someone left a present or 'by the way, come to this party on such-and-such' or the like.
Note: When making a new thread, please title it like such:
[Action, January 3rd]
[Voice, March 8th]

[It's another try at humor, even though he's exhausted and a ball of nerves right about now. Easier to try to mask what he's feeling than let it show. He's no fool, though-- he knows that Law isn't going to buy it. Call it an instinctive reaction.]
[Action, September 20th]
Sure does. Now what's strange around here is to have something perfectly, mind-numbingly normal happen. Now that's weird.
[But he'll banter back. It's the least he can do.]
[Action, September 20th]
[In other words, less talking, more heading to the place with the booze.]
[Action, September 20th]
As long as you don't count it's happening underwater.
[And he's going to walk right up and pull open that door. Teleporter here they come.]
[Action, September 20th]
[Gai doesn't need an invitation to step in and head right over to the teleporter. Normally he's not much of a fan of the device, but in this case? He is so going through it with eagerness.]
[Action, September 20th]
And tada. They set out into the old fort at the beach.]
Well, let's go see if it is.
[Gai might notice the beginnings of the pickling of static. One of telltales the Ope Ope no Mi is about to come into play.
The other is the steely gray blue eyes of the pirate now look very blue indeed. Like they're shimmering with internal light. Light that's about to blossom externally in any second.]
[Action, September 20th]
And it interests him, since he's never really seen the full extent of what the pirate is capable of.]
[Action, September 20th]
Law's hand sweeps out and the energy bubble forms. It's pure blue energy and the air inside shimmers like it does in extreme heat. The temperature, however, doesn't budge. It's not the only peculiar thing.
It feels like they're in a separate space, a world not ruled by the normal laws of physics but by Law. Yet they're still very present as well. The feeling is pure contradiction.
-Pop-
And then they're not on the beach at all. But on the deck of a ship underwater, nestled in a kelp forest. There's another bubble around them, wrapping around the ship. It's clear and somewhat filmy, just like a soap bubble. It keeps the air in. It's cool on that deck, but not cold.
And the dying light filters down around them, and beyond the bubble the schools of fishes roam.]
[Action, September 20th]
They really are underwater. It's strange, yet somehow soothing. He could get used to this, he thinks, especially after he gets a few drinks into himself.]
Something tells me you don't have anything to worry about when it comes to people finding the ship down here.
[Action, September 20th]
Not until we have another blasted teleporting experiment at least.
[Action, September 20th]
And something also tells me that I'm glad I missed that one.
[Action, September 20th]
[He pushes himself off the mast to head below deck.]
It was hilarious at times, but mostly it was just a pain.
[Action, September 20th]
[Let's be real, he KNOWS the Malnosso would do that on purpose.]
[Action, September 20th]
[Action, September 20th]
[Because there's no way that WOULDN'T have been hilarious.]
[Action, September 20th]
Well, it's bound to happen again so you might get your chance. Just be sure to avoid the shower when it does.
[Action, September 20th]
[Meanwhile, Gai will just take a seat on the deck-- he's emotionally and physically worn out, as much as he's been trying to hide it, and he just wants to sit down and relax and get drunk out of his mind right about now.]
[Action, September 20th]
Warn you right now. A bottle of this stuff can get even me drunk fast.
[And Law's alcohol tolerance is unnaturally high.]
[Action, September 20th]
[The stronger, the better. He reaches up for one of the glasses, wanting to get started on this process right away.]
[Action, September 20th]
What I thought. Great seas, what a hell of a day.
[Action, September 20th]
Hard to believe I was only gone for a few hours.
[Action, September 20th]
Nothing to go back to. He admits.] It seemed like longer.
[Action, September 20th]
[He stares down at his glass for a moment, then downs it in a single gulp. He's going to need it if he's going to be recounting what happened in his world for the second time today.]
It turns out I wasn't even allowed to stay dead.
[Action, September 20th]
Shock. And. You too?]
... what?
[Yeah. Refilling that glass.
Just give him a few minutes to process that first.]
[Action, September 20th]
[His voice is flat, tired. He's tired, so tired, and having to make that announcement about the mission didn't do anything to help with that feeling, that much is for sure.]
