Appointments 2.0
This post is for threading with Trafalgar Law anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals (voice or written) to get in contact with him for personal conversations. This will be used primarily for 'placement' threads such as: someone left a present or 'by the way, come to this party on such-and-such' or the like.
Note: When making a new thread, please title it like such:
[Action, January 3rd]
[Voice, March 8th]

Law's smirking. Carefully watching the assassin for anything sudden, and the casual way he leans against the main mast is a lie because he's ready to react at a moment's notice. But Zevran's 'hand caught in the cookie jar' look is almost cute.
Terribly amusing too.
[action, May 5th]
On and on he would go because he is all nerves and being caught and seeing double did nothing whatsoever to calm him from the fact that he sort of intends to propose this evening and oh maker what if they say no?
[action, May 5th]
"What a relief. For a moment I was thinking, 'Oh dear, he's trying to seduce me by impressing me with his pirating skills and then luring me out for a romantic dinner.' In which case I would have to decline, apologize, and then dump you overboard because I'm sadly practically married already."
He's teasing the elf, all dry snark and wry humor and cocked eyebrows. He does have to take some kind of revenge now since he did tell him to ask first and clearly if he does nothing this sort of behavior will continue.
Hmm. Hmmm. The usual methods are quite out too as in the end they will cause so much more trouble than they're worth. They'll just incite retaliation. However, there are other ways to deal with this, much more profitable ways, and this is the better route to take.
"I'm glad to hear otherwise. But you know, you didn't ask, and now here we are, with me wondering if I should be so generous to grant that. What would make this worth my while?"
[action, May 5th]
All that comes out, and all that he manages to do is drop down on his knees and state very plainly "I am proposing. After a fashion. and I have no idea how it is one goes about doing so or what it is that I ought to say or ask and they may not even want me back until I can lay with them again but they would never admit to that much and I might be the ruin of them-"
[action, May 5th]
And then his eyebrow crooks some more, "Hey, slow down..."
[action, May 5th]
"Whatever you do, do it quickly- but please don't kill me. They've been through mourning me once already this past month and I would rather not put them through that again so soon."
[action, May 5th]
Just watching now, eyes narrowed and considering.
"But now you owe me since you didn't ask me first. And since you can't come up with any repayment on your own, I'll dictate a couple of options you can chose from. A favor, any favor I want, that I can cash in on in the future. Or being left high and dry in the mountains and having to walk back to town on your own."
He tilts his head. Taking the boat itself is dangerous because of the coating feature and if it is activated, there will be trouble.
"Or if you chose not to borrow my craft after all, I'll only demand good books. Your choice."
Re: [action, May 5th]
"What kind of books? I've quite a collection of my own, now. Who would have thought having less time to bed two lovely men would give me the desire to read?" It still puzzled him. This way he would never, ever, ever try this again and Law might let him go in one piece. Maybe.
[action, May 5th]
"I enjoy riveting fiction. Give me an exciting story, thrilling plot twists, and intriguing characters and I'll be quite content, no matter the genre."
Oh, he'll certainly let him go in one piece. It's not wise not to do that, even though a lesson must be taught. That said, he's being very generous with his penalty and he knows it.
He could do worse and others could certainly do worse. And might not be as smart as him to hold off, and turn could into would and will. What this is in reality is a warning shot across the bow. He hopes the elf appreciates it for what it is.
[action, May 5th]
Though.
There was that one. The one he'd come to enjoy and reread quite a bit over the past few days. one he had yet to return for his enjoyment. One with a Spaniard and a princess and a giant.
He wasn't certain he'd be willing to part with it just yet- but it might be enough to make up for this rather large fumble. He's surprised he's getting off so light. And slightly suspicious of it.
"...you're going to kill me when I bring you the books, aren't you."
[action, May 5th]
Musing lightly with amusement. Really, what good does killing in this place? Aside from making many irritating enemies that is.
[action, May 5th]
[action, May 5th]
"So unless you suddenly have better ideas at recompense, or want me to dream up something worse for you, I'd like my books please. As soon as possible."
[action, May 5th]
Maybe.
[action, May 5th]
He's got to go to Sanji's later and drop off some cigarettes (and get a horrible, horrible surprise) but that was later.
Right now he had plenty of time to waste, and lazying around on his boat was an especially good time to waste it.
[action, May 5th]
It took time.
Not as long as he thought, but just about, anyway.
But before that half hour was up he vaulted back upon the ship, a neatly wrapped bundle of books in hand.
[action, May 5th]
"Twenty three minutes. I'm surprised there isn't fire trailing after you."
From how fast he was moving that is.
