[Blissfully unaware of Admirals stalking the village in search of him, Trafalgar Law is taking a few hours away from nosing around the village and through the journals... though it’s still open – he likes to listen to the background noise from the book. Today he must attend to some of life’s tedious domestic necessities. Mainly cleaning the apartment, cooking dinner, and sitting down on the couch to alter some new shirts and sweaters to accommodate his wings.

Boring, but it’s not going to get done by itself.

Sword maintenance comes next on the list, and that’s when the hairs on the back of his neck start to rise as he sights down the blade looking for imperfections and fractures. It’s a loud day for the journals, what with the floods of new arrivals (and no voices of crew yet), but he’s got the uneasy feeling the fun’s about to visit him in turn. 8| ]

Aa, a very dangerous man from my world. He's... hmm... how to describe this... a light man, you could say. As in he not just controls light, but is it as well. He's very destructive and not too discriminate in it... and there are few Luceti that could stop him, if at all, should he decide he's in the mood to kill something. He is also practically impossible to kill.

[Not exaggerating. Luceti's never had something like an Admiral before, and even powercapped the village could be a greasy streak of ash before there could be a blink]

It seems rather destructive for any well-knowledge scientist to want to bring someone like that into an enclosed vicinity. Especially knowing there are enemies among it.

Somehow I doubt that concerns them. All they're interested is the data they can collect from us. Our responses to certain stimuli. And when set against near impossible odds... how one reacts to inevitability would be a invaluable thing to study.

[The whys of the Malnosso ways weren't hard to understand for Law. They did it because they were curious. Because there might be something to gain. And for scientists given the power of mad godlings to play with? They did it just because they could.

For Luceti, with its revolving door of life and death, why be concerned with the bugs under the microscope?]

I suppose that knowledge is based on perspective... Do you think anyone in here is willing. I have no interest for the information they seek, but shouldn't their be an obvious different between those who willing accept the trials and those who are unwilling. Judging human behavior seems rather redundant because of all the various outcomes. Even more so if they're all from far away lands.

No one here is willing, Mister Gonou, no one. And I would imagine they want their reactions as genuine as possible. And for that... cooperation might be a hindrance in the end.

You'd think so, but not if you want to suppose they're creating a baseline. A mean for the human experience. For that, you'd need all those people from all those lands, the more the better. For studies on commonality, diversity is necessary.
